• MEMS (Micro Electromechanical Systems) devices are tiny chip scale instruments for specialized applications in biotechnology, medicine, airbags, sensors, telecommunication devices. When observed with bare eye, all you can see are small dots making up a matrix on the chip. However when observed under a microscope these often multimicron dimensional structures move, turn, flip in different directions...etc. They are tiny micrometer range machines.
