Rapid Prototyping • Rapid prototyping (within a few days) of plastic parts, metal parts and sheet metal parts. Rapid prototyping can save you money and time by eliminating the need for expensive tooling. Instead of manufacturing moulds and producing a part, one can rapidly produce it for example using a laser system that produces the part by depositing it layer by layer (techniques such as SLA, SLS and FDM). Also for sheet metal bending, punching, forming and assembly we offer a prototyping service that eliminates the need for expensive and time consuming development of dies and tools. SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS) produces rapid prototypes from production materials and the produced parts typically have high strength. A carbondioxide laser sinters powdered material layer by layer to create a durable, solid object. Physical properties of the produced parts are similar to the production material. STEREOLITHOGRAPHY (SLA) is an accurate and versatile rapid prototyping technique. A liquid photopolymer is selectively cured using an ultraviolet laser and SLA prototypes are produced. FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING (FDM): In this process one extrudes a thermoplastic material and deposits it layer-by-layer fusing it to the layer beneath it, thus forming a 3D model. A variety of engineering materials such as ABS, polycarbonate (PC) can be usedFDM creates functional prototypes using a variety of engineering materials like ABS, and polycarbonate. POLYJET MATRIX PRINTING process has the unique capability to build parts as a rigid material (Shore D), rubber-like material (Shore A) or a combination of the two in one shot. The materials are jetted in ultra-thin layers, layer by Layer, until the part is completed. Photopolymer layer are cured by UV light immediately affter being jetted, producing fully cured models. It is capable to simultaneously build with multiple materials. Prototyped parts have smooth and durable surfaces, with fine details and very good surface finish. URETHANE CASTING: Properties are like production parts and cosmetically they are similar to production parts. Urethane materials can be chosen to match specific mechanical properties of the production material. Suitable for quantities that are between prototype and production. A quantity of samples can be produced inexpensively and fast and can be used even for first sales if required quantities are reasonable. Casting process is capable of reproducing details. Due to the flexibility of the molds, draft angles and undercuts are not as critical as in other molding processes. One can produce urethane castings using low-cost silicone molds called RTV moulds (Room Temperature Vulcanization). ALUMINUM TOOLS FOR INJECTION MOULDING: Using aluminum as tool material is suitable for low quantity, fast turnaround, inexpensive moulding of limited number of parts. Since aluminum tools do not have long lifetime like steel tools, it is only good for small quantities. For fast turnaround, aluminum tools are produced directly from CAD data and composite tools are produced using SLA master as a pattern. INVESTMENT CASTING: Used for low quantities (1 - 5) and when the material is steel, stainless steel, or iron. METAL CASTING using PLASTER/SAND TOOLING: For higher quantities (> 5). Mechanical propertie are very similar to Die Cast parts. Additional material will need to be added to all critical tolerance surfaces to account for dimensional error introduced in the plaster cast process. Secondary machining is used to machine the parts to meet critical dimensions. There are numerous other highly technical services we can offer you.
